WORCESTER, MA -- The Boynton Angel Group is beginning operations as an investment group in Worcester, MA. The group took its name from John Boynton who was an entrepreneur and founder of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mitchel Sanders is the inaugural chairman of the group. He indicated that it already includes 13 members and intends to reach a maximum size of 40 members. Members will be able to invest individually as well as part of a group. The group intends to invest principally in very early stage biotech companies located within a 2 hour drive of Worcester, MA.
